China Life was inspired by a series of life events of label owner and music producer, Ryan Hall (known as Soulier). Through loss, love, depression, adventure, and community - the music of the China Life EP is the story about Soulier's break-out into the Chinese electronic music scene. The music not only comes from Soulier, but includes some of the most talented producers in the Calgary electronic music scene. It is a celebration of life, and what can become of random encounters around the world. The China Life EP was prepared for the Strawberry Music Festival, in mainland China, where Soulier will perform in Changsha, Hunan Province in July 2014. Enter the Beijing subway system with the Soulier's self-titled electronic adventure "China Life". A melodic adventure awaits. Remixes of "China Life" by Isis Graham and Krystle Love B highlight their original styles, showcasing their deep house talents. "Subterranean", a Matt Caine original, takes us into the deep dark alleys of China. Finally, "The Experiment" collaboration between Enno Karr and Soulier provides a melodic soundscape that will transport you to a higher place. Created and the dark lab, this is sure to please electronica and trance fans.
