Pianist Diane Hidy went back to her classical roots merging Scarlatti sonatas with carols and taking simple Christmas songs to new heights with her glorious arrangement of Silent Night. Diane Hidy is best known for her more than 40 recordings of piano literature used by students around the world. She also is a gifted composer and arranger. She made her Carnegie Hall debut in 1991. She was the first woman to become a Fellow of the American Pianist Association. She earned a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from the University of Southern California where she studied with John Perry and a Master of Music in Piano Performance from the Peabody Conservatory of Music where she was a student of Leon Fleisher. She writes a Facebook page, Diane Hidy's Piano Teaching Tips where she shares her experience with others. She performs with the Bay Area Theater Sports Company (BATS) at Fort Mason where she improvises entire musicals on the spur of the moment. Recently, she collaborated with Tony award winner Bebe Neuwirth in her show Here Lies Jenny. Angela Koregelos After studies with Alain Marion in Paris and James Pappoutsakis at the New England Conservatory of Music, flutist Angela Koregelos made her professional solo debut in London\'s Wigmore Hall where the Times hailed \"the freshness of her tone and the naturalness of her playing.\" She returned to the United States and became one of the youngest principal players of the Oakland Symphony where she was often featured as a soloist. She has performed and recorded with the San Francisco Opera Orchestra and the Skywalker Symphony where she has participated in numerous projects for film and television. She currently teaches flute and chamber music at Mills College, Oakland, and conducts masterclasses both in the U.S. and abroad. Ms. Koregelos currently performs on a flute made for her by her father.
