Herman Crantz delivers a solid EP here for our second release. The title track 'Candy Flipping' is a synthy club monster, equal parts progressive and techy. The light plucky chords add harmonic interest to the driving low end, gradually making space for the lead synth to come in and work it's magic. 'Indigo' is a deep and plodding number that makes use of real horns and Balkan style chords to add a southern European charm to this fantastic track. Long time Crantz collaborator Peter Lansford delivers an amazing take on 'Candy Flipping' under his pLansford guise, to round the release off nicely. Taking the original even deeper and more atmospheric, this track is an after hours number that is sure to remain in many DJs bags for the forseeable future.
