The film promises international career, is directed by Çagan Irmak and has sold already 7.000.000 tickets in Turkey. Evanthia Reboutsika was elected as ‘The Discovery of the Year 2006’ for the music of My Father & My Son. Launched in 2001 by the Flanders International Film Festival , the World Soundtrack Academy is aimed at organizing and overseeing the educational, cultural and professional aspects of the art of film music, including the preservation of the history of the soundtrack and its worldwide promotion. The latter through the presentation of awards as well as through the development of several other promotional initiatives.
