"The creation of Starlight has been an evolutionary process. Over a span of 7 months I have written and recorded forty plus songs for this EP. After much deliberation, the EP was narrowed down to 9 songs, a mix of Pop, Rock, R&B, and Hip-Hip. Some believe that nine tracks is a bit much for an EP, but I've never been very concerned with industry definitions, and I wanted to make sure my supporters were well fed. Starlight is my baby. I've always been the kind of writer that doesn't really write about my life. However, every song on this EP was inspired by my own personal situations. I poured my heart out lyrically, and vocally. Experimenting with different sounds while trying not to lose the core of who I am as an artist. This project is only a check point in my career. A mark of who I am at this moment.
