简介：Trained for eight years in classical and jazz piano, 16-year-old Cinna now writes, produces, and performs her own original music. Bringing together hand-crafted sounds from her bedroom in Shanghai, she presents herself as a genre-defying, intensely personal storyteller. Her sonic influences cross a vast spectrum, ranging from Debussy CDs and The Real Book to Broadway musicals and film scores, mashed with inspiration from artists like Jacob Collier, Lido, dodie, NF, and Fall Out Boy. Similarly, a flurrying array of genres characterises Cinna's repertoire. Majestic fusions of electronic and orchestral music meet jazz-inspired melodies and blend themselves amongst soft acoustic tunes and hard-hitting pop/rock hits - there is no facet of music she isn't aching to explore. Ultimately, though, Cinna crafts her soundscapes to tell stories. Using her ever-varying palette, her newest EP “Seer” dives deep into grief, loss, hate, tranquillity, and relief.
