Josefus was a pioneer of heavy music in the late 60s and early 70s. They released an independent album in 1970 that is still selling today. Their Dead Man LP has been reissued by several U.S. and European labels, (to continue reading click on BACK TO ARTIST PAGE) In 2004 they were asked to put the band back together for The Halloween / Day of the Dead Psych Fest in Houston Several tracks from that show are featured on a limited edition CD, of which only 250 were produced. Those copies sold out long ago, but a few more are now being made available. The new copies are not individually numbered but the tracks are exactly the same. Single tracks and the full album are still available from CD Baby as MP3 files and from a number of other digital music sites.
