Alex Barclay was born in Germany and moved to the Netherlands in the late 80's. In the early 90's he started to produce dance, trance club and techno using very limited equipment, forcing him to be very creative to work around technical limitations. That creativity and tinkering is still a very remarkable trademark of Alex's sound and style. Like no other, he has a natural feeling for grooves and rythmic details combined with a flawless understanding of melodies and harmonics.
