On "We don't serve Clowns", Paddy's Funeral continue to explore the limits of the Folk Punk Genre. Delivering classical Folk Punk with the tongue-in-cheeck "Folk Punk Song" and Irish traditional "The Mero", they flirt with Dark Cabaret in the title track (which is based on an anecdote from Jimi Hendrix' biography) and experiment with Klezmer and Jazz when interpreting the Yiddish "Dire Gelt" -- all with a heavy guitar-oriented sound continuing the Rock 'n Roll vibe of the previous albums.
