'The Undiscovered Self' EP was recorded in one day by hip-hop producer Vinyl Villain and the very talented MC, Jonny Silva. Both currently reside just outside of Boston, Massachusetts and are always looking to build with new artists or fans, so please feel free to reach out to either of us. Vinyl Villain woke up one morning, like many others, motivated to work on some music. But he didn't want to just sit at his studio and work on beats all day. He decided to post on Facebook to see if anybody wanted to record an EP in one day. That is where Jonny Silva came into play. After a quick "where are you?" Vinyl Villain was on his way with all his equipment to Jonny's house. Once there, all equipment was set up and we started recording. One song quickly turned into five in just under eight hours. Mixed the following week by Vinyl Villain and then released upon the internet. We hope you enjoy 'The Undiscovered Self' EP. Thank you.
