Two Chords and a Pen is not only a featured song on the album, but more importantly represents the simplicity and overall journey of Brittanie Thomas as a songwriter and singer. The "Two Chords" symbolizes the initial composition and framework of her melodies, "the pen" is reflective of the songwriting component, and as the song lyrics additionally state, "a little bit of love," which is a direct correlation to the passion that must be in tact to make each song so special, memorable, and timeless.

The goal for this debut album was to create a series of relatable stories that would also teach valuable, practical life lessons. Inspirational songs such as "I Need You," "Green Light," and "Energy" have been coined fan favorites, however there is truly something for everyone on this album!
