简介
The Chapelaires are a southern gospel quartet based in London, Ontario, Canada. They were originally formed in 1968, and have had a number of different members throughout the years. Current members are bass David Jackson (original founding member, but he doesn't look as old as he is, and he doesn't act his age!), alto Sheila Jackson (wife of Dave), soprano Myrna Hand, and tenor Larry Steeves. Myrna's husband Dave Hand travels with them as sound engineer. Although they are southern gospel style, they have a contemporary, refreshing sound that is ever changing with the times. They have released 15 recording projects throughout their history. The Chapelaires can be booked for a variety of events and concerts for a flexible and reasonable cost - call 519-264-2684 or email dsjackson@sympatico.ca for more information. Visit their website at www.chapelaires.com for full biographies, photos, touring schedule, and to purchase their other CDs. “What Have I to Lose” is The Chapelaires’ 16th project, released in May 2013, featuring a collection of 15 southern and contemporary gospel songs that proclaim foundational truths of faith and encourage you in your life of faith. The project was recorded and produced by Tim Schwindt of River Music Productions in London, Ontario (www.rivermusicproductions.com).
