Talking Whisper contains 15 of Steven Alan Parry’s own compositions. The album conveys a lot of different moods. Steven changes from one style to the other. What could be seen as incoherent is in fact varied, complex and entertaining at the same time. On Talking Whisper one finds harmonic and funky electro pop with an 80’s approach combined with elements from drum & bass and dubstep, piano pieces, melodic singer / songwriter, indie pop rock and even a small hint of opera. The Swiss musician has already completed a lot of albums in the past ten years, but Talking Whisper is only his second one, that’s been officially released. Like the previous ones, he recorded, mixed, produced and mastered it in his own studio “Schalldose”. His girlfriend Marion Weik enriched the tracks Talking Whisper and Tumble Down with her unique voice. She and Steven wrote the lyrics and melody to the song Talking Whisper together. The album is available only digitally.
