"Focused On You" is Wesley Lunsford's first single off of his upcoming EP due out Fall 2015. Wesley's approach to songwriting is continually changing and this new selection of songs takes us down a less polished, less produced sounding journey. "On these songs, I want there to be less distraction, fewer sonic layers to make it easier to focus on lyrics and melody. I've really been delving back into artists such as Amos Lee, Brett Dennen and Ray Lamontagne with a fresh appreciation for their art." This new approach for Wesley by no means translates to a lack of attention to detail, instrumentation and arrangement, but definitely makes space for the honesty of his lyrics to shine through.
