If the word 'Love' disappears 모두가 잠든 새벽, 문득 떠오른 생각. 어느 날 '사랑'이라는 단어가 우주에서 사라져 버린다면, 우리는 그 마음을 어떻게 표현할 수 있을까? 어쩌면 '사랑'이라는 단어 하나로 커다란 마음을 작게 접어서 전하고 있던 것은 아닐까? 사랑이라는 단어 없이도 사랑하는 사람에게 마음을 표현하는 노래, 'If the word 'Love' disappears' ('사랑'이라는 단어가 사라진다면)는 조금은 유치한 허풍과 애정 하는 마음을 담은 R&B 장르의 곡이다. 곡 콘셉트 유지를 위해 가사에 '사랑', 'Love'라는 단어를 사용하지 않고 작사에 도전했지만 사랑을 주제로 사랑을 말하지 못하는 것은 꽤나 답답하고 쉽지 않았다. 대신 앨범 소개에서 그 답답함을 풀고자 한다. 사랑해사랑해사랑해사랑해랑사라애하애라야하라랴!!!!!!내가니사랑한다고! 02. Midnight(feat. sushiwishfish) "오늘 밤은 너와 함께하고 싶어, 너는 어때?" 어둡고 고요한 밤, 사랑하는 사람과 함께 있고 싶은 마음을 담은 노래, 'Midnight'는 연인 간의 사랑을 주제로 표현한 R&B 장르의 곡이다. 높고 차분한 보컬 사이로 리드미컬한 sushiwishfish(스위피)의 피처링이 어우러져 곡의 재미를 더했다. 사실 이 곡은 이미 1년 전쯤 콘셉트 구상과 비트 스케치가 끝났었다. 약 1년간 멜로디와 가사를 썼다 지웠다 하며 완성한 곡이라 개인적으로는 애증의 감정이 드는 곡이다. 발매 전, 노래를 들어본 주변 지인들에게서 요즘 연애하냐는 질문을 받았다. 1년간의 상상력이 빛을 바라는 순간이었다. 누구에게나 찾아오는 어두운 밤, 그 시간 속에 있을 당신에게 오늘이 좋은 밤이 되길 바라며 앨범 소개를 마친다. If one day the word 'love' vanished from the universe, how would we express that feeling? Perhaps we have been folding a vast emotion into the small word 'love' to convey it. The song 'If the word 'Love' disappears' is an R&B track filled with a bit of silly bravado and affectionate feelings, aiming to express love to someone without using the word 'love' or 'Love' in its lyrics. Trying to keep the concept intact, writing lyrics without mentioning 'love' was quite frustrating and challenging. Instead, this album introduction seeks to release that frustration. A song filled with the desire to be with a loved one on a dark and quiet night, 'Midnight' is an R&B track that explores the theme of love between partners.. The rhythmic featuring by sushiwishfish adds an enjoyable element to the song, intertwined with the high and calm vocals. In fact, the concept and beat sketch for this song were completed about a year ago. It's a song that I have a love-hate relationship with, having spent about a year writing and erasing melodies and lyrics until it was finished. Before its release, friends who had heard the song asked if I was in a relationship. It was a moment when a year's worth of imagination shone brightly. To everyone who experiences the dark night, I hope this album brings you a good night as well. along with Sushiwishfish's seamless featuring, add joy to the song Especially, the lyrics that feel like a conversation are impressive.
