MiCKi's style is a Virginia Blend of Rock, Country, Jazz , Swing, Pop and R&B. Something to suit every mood of your day and your life. She's Doin' It All Again : writing, all vocals, instruments, recording and mixing (except where Earl Dixon plays the keys). MiCKi is the poet, Michelle O'Hearn, who has an established following in various writing circles. When she ran out of people to write songs for, friends nudged her into singing her own works. With such a variety of writing styles, folks have a hard time trying to define MiCKi. Thus, Virginia Blend and Raw Dog style was born. Virginia Blend is the mix of musical influences that attacked the ears of this kid born and raised in Virginia from Alexandria to Richmond and the beautiful hills in-between. One can't but hear the variety of incfluences in her music. The Raw Dog recording style uses no computer enhancements or vocal refinements, like auto-tune. Raw Dog uses full-track recording for live beginning-to-end sound. No clip-and-paste-and-duplicate here.
