I still think that Miki Howard´s self titled ´89 album is her best. She is that good on the funky Ain´t Nuttin´ In the World, which had me blasting its heavy hitting beats back in the fall of 1989! I thought that Gerald Levert produced that, since his group Levert had similar songs like that one, but it was Nettlesby and Coffey that made that fine record. Another favorite is the taking control song, Love Under New Management. Miki´s finest vocal performance to date. If You Still Love Me, Just the Way..., Love Me All Over, Until You Come Back To Me and others are some other superb songs. This is still a fabulous album to this day, full of soul, grace and talent from Miki!
