The Steelpan is Trinidad & Tobago's national instrument. It transcends ethnic, cultural, political, economic and social background and it crossed countries and regions to emerge as an international phenomenon. "Pan for the People" is a compilation of recordings of the finest steelbands from Trinidad & Tobago and Switzerland performing their greatest hits from the years 1987-2001.
