Michael Padgett was born in Garland Texas on April 6, 1980. When he was three years old he moved into Mansfield Texas where he lived all the way through high school until he turned 23 years old. When Michael was 20 years old he was offered a position to be a professional baseball player for the Cincinnati Reds but before he left to go to farm league he blew out his elbow and was forced to decline the offer. This is what started Michael's career in music. He picked up the guitar that his dad gave him. As he picked around on the guitar he started learning more and more about music and falling in love with it. In 2006 he released his rookie album that was self-titled Michael Padgett. In 2012 he released his sophomore album also self-titled Michael Padgett. The years between 2006 and 2012 were plagued with working a full-time job. When Michael realized his passion was deeper than he thought, he put Real Estate on the side and started focusing on his writing and playing and has never looked back!
