Pablo Romeu was born in 1990 in Recife, one of the most multicultural cities in Brazil. He grew up surrounded by great musicians, including his parents. At the age of 9 he got his first acoustic guitar and started his musical studies, albeit without a teacher. At his first live concert, he played guitar with his grandfather at an annual music competition in Recife. As a teenager, Pablo discovered the heavy metal band Iron Maiden and fell in love with the sound of the electric guitar. At the age 14, he bought an electric guitar and started to learn everything he could. Later, Pablo attended college and studied music at the Federal University of Pernambuco, starting then to work in studios and on stages. Since the beginning of his career, Pablo has strived to work on his own material, and through the internet he has been able to share it with the world. Recently, Pablo has been contributing great performances in online competitions, thus having the amazing opportunity of representing his country in Bangkok (Thailand), where he was one of the winners of the "Yamaha and Laney Competition" in 2013. In 2014 he was also one of the finalists of the "Six String Theory Music Competition", sponsored by the legendary guitarist Lee Ritenour. In 2015 he was one of the 10 finalists of the amazing contest organized by JamTrackCentral. In 2016 Pablo was one of the finalists once again in the "Six String Thory Music Competition". He was the winner of the Ziua Chitarelor 4 in Romania, being judged by great guitarists like Frank Gambale, Ron Thal "Bumblefoot", Tosin Abasi, Daniele Gotardo, Prashant Aswani and Joel Hoekstra. Pablo enjoys making heavy music, however, always with several references to Brazilian music. This mix represents his personality and has been received with great acclaim. In 2014 Pablo released his first instrumental album called "Intense Dream", which is a collection of ten songs written at different times in his life. Within the album, it's possible to notice Pablo's various influences throughout distinct moments in his musical development.
