A collection of 100% original material written by Clive John - voice of the Johnny Cash Roadshow. Recorded with legendary producer John David in the idyllic setting of Monmouth. Alongside brand new compositions, Clive presents re-workings of a selection of his more popular older songs as he utilises the talents of ‘The Spirit Band’ aka the Johnny Cash Roadshow.

This recording features special guest musician Harry ‘B’ bringing the authentic flavours of international roots music with his Pedal Steel, Dobro and Banjo performances. Jill Schoonjans duets with Clive in the style of Johnny Cash and June Carter.

On this album Clive is able to present a songwriter at the top of his game and a selection of band performances that not only capture the essence of the songs but also the spirit of their delivery.
