Recorded in Nashville in May 2017, "Where I've Been" is a compilation of fourteen songs drawn from Ty Thurman's lifetime as a musician and songwriter. Ty's lyrics range across an emotional landscape, from the quiet introspection of love lost and found to the laughter and freedom of life in the Florida Keys, where he now lives. An accomplished guitarist, Ty's musical influences range from Country to Jazz... Beatles to Buffett and everything between.

Some of Music City's very best session vocalists and players joined Ty for this project, and from the first track to the last, "Where I've Been" offers a truly memorable musical journey. Band members and vocalists on the session have recorded and/or toured with artists such as Kenny Chesney, Maren Morris, Brad Paisley, Kelsea Ballerini, Delbert McClinton, Christopher Cross and many more. Nashville vocalist Liz Thurman is featured on two of the best tracks. You'll want to be on the lookout for her second album, to be recorded and released in the coming months.
