简介
I am the queen of not going through with plans. My mountains of unfinished masterpieces pile up like dead leaves. But this summer; with some help from a friend, one of those leaves turned into an album. At first I decided I needed some professional tracks for my demo. But quickly discovered it would be impossible to do more than one song with a normal studio. Right as that leaf was falling onto the dirty ground (haha) I thought of Mark Stewart. So I contacted him. And then he made Sane or Alive. The play count on that clip on my COMPUTER is embarrassing. After that the whole process became more than just a fantastic opportunity to seem like an actual musician. It was a fantastic opportunity to take a step toward actually being one. So propelled by Mark’s steady stream of professionalism, we recorded another, and another, and another. After many audio uploads, some existential crises, and the expected heart-bursting pride at the tracks along with plenty of “oh my God how did you do that with my songs” were said, the album leaped from my imagination into the audible world. What started as a good idea I had in the shower turned into an incredible set of tracks. In two months. Because of the Patrons of The Arts at RyeBelles and other venues, the incredible support from my parents, and a production prodigy at Raydon Studio, I get to have a career that pays me to practice what I love. To compose, to write, and most importantly, to keep pouring out my heart on stage for the people who wrote me into their set lists. Pitch Black Noise will be out on iTunes and in print in three to four weeks. If you want to support my and my acoustic punk-funk blues rock you can buy the album on iTunes, or through CD Baby if you want a physical copy. I will also sell them wherever I perform.
