简介
Produced by Daniel Moore In 1961 (age 20), after playing the saxophone for 12 years, I traded 3 Saxes straight across to Ned Stocks of “Stocks Music” store in Rupert Idaho for my Martin D-28 Guitar (including the case.) The price was $325.00. This old guitar has helped me write “Shambala,” “My Maria” and many more songs over our lifetime. Of all of the “things” I own, this old guitar is the only “thing” I really care about. I needed the guitar for my first real gig at Sun Valley, Idaho (actually, Ketchum, Idaho at the Leadville Espresso House; a real 60’s coffee house.) I remember that Ramblin’ Jack Elliot had just finished a week there. I met him then and later (1978) sang on a “Tribute To Woody Guthrie” album with him that Rodney Dillard produced. I doubt that he would remember me, but I remember him. The last 3 cuts on this album are from a live broadcast radio show, (KFLY) performed at “The Old World Center” nightclub in Corvallis Oregon on August 16, 1977. Excuse the raggedy sound quality. Regards Daniel Moore
