I, DJ Hardnox was born in the bay, almost succumbing to a pre-mature birth. I took the determination to strive and made it a part of me. Growing up in the east bay I was exposed to all kinds of music. My style is hard, yet soulful. I like melodies and soul music that spans genres and is something that sticks wih you. With no father. music was a surrogate to me. My teachers were Donny Hathaway, Prince & 2pac. I was exposed to my peers making music and try to fuse many elements together when creating. I'm an encyclopedia of sound. The best readers read the most, the best producers/DJs listen the most. So now... Hard work pays off, no days off.
