During the summer of 2013 a series of exhibitions featuring my paintings and accompanying music, opened at The Sean Hollywood Arts Centre, Newry, Northern Ireland; this was followed by shows throughout Northern England concluding at the World Heritage Visitor Centre, Durham, in February 2014 . This CD, “Wall to Wall - Lindisfarne to Walltown” and the soon to be released “Wall to Wall - Cowraik to Carlingford” feature the complete cycle of music written and collected for the exhibition Wall to Wall. This new collection of contemporary traditional music is based on the bagpipe and fiddle traditions of Northumberland, the Scottish Borders and Ireland. It reflects the indigenous traditional music found at each location, painted en route between Lindisfarne and Carlingford: a comprehensive track listing, describing all the individual tune titles and composers is listed below.
