'The Furys' are New Zealand band, formed in 1979 from the remnants of 'Johnny and the Hookers'. They play British R'n'B music in the style of 'Dr Feelgood', with a smattering of 'The Flamin' Groovies' and Dave Edmunds 'Rockpile'. This Anthology CD contains 21 tracks, both studio and live, covering 1979 to 1999. The band are known for their music: covering blues, rock 'n' roll, alt. country, soul and 'old school' rhythm and blues. This is a Digitally Re-mastered Edition of a 2004 release and is highly recommended.
