NxT is a fun, high-energy rock band from Champaign, IL. Their songs are characterized by clever hook-filled lyrics and exceptional musicianship. Fans have compared them with a wide array of artists, such as The Cars, The Police, Fastball, Fountains of Wayne and Jonathan Richman. Still, contrary to its ironically-titled CD, NxT's sound is all its own. NxT's members are young, but rich with experience. The band's members have performed at musical festivals and events across the United States, including Carnegie Hall, and one member also plays with the 2015 rendition of the Jazz Band of America.
