The first 4 track EP from Melted Music in 2016. Christchurch DNB producers No One & RUBIX team up to present two tech rollers. For production they used mostly outboard analogue synths including a Moog, Arturia and a virus. Lancaster is a bouncy roller that features that iconic Moog richness, it is explosive with intricate drum parts. Its full wall of sound makes the track interesting in the mix and a stand out when played on its lonesome. Followed by Emergence, a track that showcases the two producers merging their sound together. With its cinematic properties and unearthly arrangement it proves that the deep, tech sound is still embedded well into the Christchurch soil. The final two tracks are produced by RUBIX. Ricochet & Civil War. Both tracks keep the technical theme of the EP but also push the Darker elements from the Melted Music head man. Artwork by Alex Pryser
