Canadian West and Rocky Mountain star, Freddy J got his start in the glory days of vinyl when the starry eyes for Electronic Music were still nestled deep in Canada's underground. Born into the breakbeat culture, with the rise of Electro House, Dubstep and all the new hotness we now just call Bass Music, he has used every opportunity to break what ain't broke and drop the Funk on it. His skills as a DJ has had him touring the largest festivals in Western Canada for a decade including Motion Notion and Shambhala and as a Shambhala fan favourite you can find him rocking the Fractal Forest every year. After a decade of tours, he's got himself a nice little studio to lock himself away in and after a season of seclusion between the festivals he's ready to drop his debut album on the world. Like We Do takes the funky fresh into the realms of bass and booty shakin' with 5 hot new tracks from the festival season studio sessions. 'A Bit Too Wild' gets the party started with fun vocals as rollin basslines drop us into 'As We Cut it Funky' and it's upbeat arpeggios.
