Mama said swing is my second album. My first album "Chasing the Sun" was mostly Latin. We were very proud of that CD but; while having a conversation with my mother, she commented about how there was "no Swing Jazz" on my CD. So my producer and I came up with the title and concept of "Mama said Swing". We also decided to make it all Live. No sequencing or samples. Just 1,2,3,4 go! We used more than 19 musicians! From Strings to Horns. Vibes and Bandoneon. Percussion and Marimbas! Great Drums and Upright Bass. Beautiful and powerful Piano!
