The Troubadors are a Acoustic based band based in Yorkshire UK Formed by Steve Chapman Smith and long time friend Andy Healey the troubadors set out to bring their own brand of Alt country, Americana, folk, roots to the music lovers of the UK "Stolen Time" is the title of their debut album and aptly describes the way the album was recorded! stolen time from family, friends & the workplace. It's a brooding but not too dark kind of sound filled with passion and taking no prisoners on the lyric front! Delicate moments of whispered promises rising to a crescendo not unlike the sea! Steve & Andy are joined by Mark Sadler on bass guitar and Tracey Chapman on beautiful backing vocals.
