In July of 2008 I began hosting a series of songwriter showcases in London. Since I would be the only reoccurring artist on the bill, I promised the audience that I would play at least one song that was new to the venue every week. For better or worse, I ended up playing several songs from deep in my catalogue. These are recordings of those songs, along with some new ones and old favorites. Most are directly off the soundboard mixed with Eric Rupert on bass, the audience and some harmony embellishments from my loop pedal fed directly into my Mac. My thanks to Reuben Hollebon for the post-production help and Eric for sitting in on the bass. Also a big “Thank You” to HALO, The Bar Room Bar, Fahrenheit 55 and the other UK venues where I recorded and to Darren, Pete, Byron, Mark and all the other managers and promoters who saw fit to hire me.
