This is a track I wrote after spending a long weekend in San Francisco with one of my oldest friends. It was my second trip to the bay area as an adult, and I tried to capture the feeling of wonder and longing that I felt while exploring the city with a friend whom I don't get to see as much now that we're older.

I started with a simple guitar phrase and built on it from there, adding layers and layers of various instruments on top of it to make it move and work within itself. I love the way the track opens up around 2/3 of the way through to this really hopeful and loving expression for the city and the people i met there.
