The series host, four-time Grammy winner David Holt, performs on the album with multi-instrumentalist Josh Goforth, bluegrass pianist Jeff Little, guitar legend Wayne Henderson, and IBMA award-winning bass player Tim Surrett. Other featured performers are Rhiannon Giddens, Dirk Powell, Jason Sypher, Steep Canyon Rangers, The Kruger Brothers, Balsam Range, Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, Mipso, Laurelyn Dossett, Dom Flemons, Amythyst Kiah, Rayna Gellert, Alice Gerrard, The Branchettes and the St. John AME Zion Unity Choir directed by Bill Myers.
