Dedric Jones is a songwriter/arranger/producer/director who serves as a choir workshop conductor throughout the city, state, and other countless places. He has received numerous certificates and awards for this service to the musical arena. He loves people, but most of all, he loves God and gives him all the glory for the great things he has done in his life. In 2001, Dedric formed a singing group that is now currently known as the ministry Dedric Jones & Chosen Praise. It is an ensemble of young adults blending their voices together to make a joyful noise unto the Lord. Truly, the Lord has caused his grace to shine upon them. This ensemble has traveled and ministered at events such as state convocations, conventions, and universities. This young energetic ensemble has also been known to produce a comtemporary flavor with a traditional undertone. The mission of the ensemble is to bring forth healing, deliverance, and salvation through the manifestation of the Holy Spirit through song.
