Brad Ladik aka B-Rad started "B-Rad & The Best Of The West Playas" after the breakup of longtime Pittsburgh band "Salt Of The Earth". Brad wrote or co-wrote all the songs on this debut CD as well as singing and playing many instruments. The Best Of The West Playas being an All-Star eclectic group of local Western Pennsylvania musicians blending together the Cosmic American music styles of Gram Parsons, Wilco, Bob Dylan and Leon Russell with the funky urban soul of Sly Stone, The Roots, Outkast and Ben Harper and many others to create unique timeless original songs.
