简介
The first few years of Monty's life might be considered normal, but at age 8 he walked to the center of a local high school auditorium stage with a borrowed guitar and tore into the Charlie Pride hit "Does My Ring Hurt Your Finger." Folks in his hometown still talk about it; little boy, big guitar, giant talent! That occasion set the course for the dedicated artist that Monty Lane Allen has become. Monty Lane never misses an opportunity to use his talent. He performed through Elementary and High School and through most of his college days while managing to hold down vocal duties as a member of "The Allen's", a successful gospel group; along with his father and sister. Since arriving in Nashville, news of his expertise has spread quickly and Grammy winning songwriters and country artists have made him their call for vocal assistance. Whether it is lead vocal or background work, the creativeness and true heart of this man is unmistakingly a wonderful thing to watch and to hear. Monty recently gave further testament of his good spirit by joining others in the Nashville Music Community lending his gift to a CD project endorsed by the Todd M. Beamer Foundation, Inc. benefiting the children of 9/11 victims; "I feel so blessed to be part of this project" he said, "and I consider it an honor to help in anyway I can. I pray God will bless it."
