They say that when we are put at the edge and we have to decide to either jump off or find a way to fight back and reach out we tend to be more creative. I felt the need to get away from the edge and tell the story of how I used words and sounds to stretch my hand and reach out to the people that felt the same need to persevere and survive. In an effort to reflect the music I was brought up on and my experiences with love, lovelessness, and solitude, I looked for an insightful way to borrow from alternative rock, latin music and R&B and make that blend work within my resources and capabilities. From the moment I was moved by music at an early age to the present I have always celebrated this art and have a deep respect for it and everyone who puts their heart and soul into it. I want to celebrate life and its struggles and victories through my music. I hope this music moves you and takes you to that place where you are listening and feel listened to. Music is life.
