This album is an ambitious work by Akihiro Nishiguchi, who is at the forefront of the Japanese jazz scene, challenging new expressions. The new band organized for this work is a drumless trio. He plays the soprano saxophone throughout, accompanied by talented musicians David Bryant (p) and Takumi Awaya (b). The creative power of the three people spins a unique ensemble.
