Barry Oreck is a based Brooklyn, NY singer songwriter who has had a long career in dance and performance art. Here, in his first CD he collects some of his recent songs in collaboration with an impressive lineup of musicians. The all-star cast includes Nashville, New Jersey, New York City veterans – Bob Harris – guitar, Rob Ickes – Dobro, Gary Oleyar – fiddle and guitar, Anthony Hannigan – mandolin, Rima Fand – fiddle, J A Granelli – bass, Kevin Garcia – percussion, Rusty Halloway – bass.

With lyrics by Barry Oreck, Larry Stallman, Jessica Nicoll, each tune offers a thought-provoking, often ironic take on a range of topics from climate change denial to love, relationships, aging – an invitation for the listener to engage in - be inspired to - a certain rewarding introspection.
