My name is Bernard Thompson, my stage name is Big Benn. I have been writing and performing Gospel music for over Twenty years. I am from San Antonio Texas and currently a member of Dedicated Baptist Church in San Antonio Texas. I have performed at Places of Worship and Event center across Texas, including the Juneteenth Festivals in San Antonio Texas and the Black Business Expo. In 2011 I was voted Best Male Gospel Recording Artist of the Year by Q-Live one.com. I was Formerly a member of a Gospel Rap Group Called Da Wizemen in 2005 the group departed ways and I have been a solo artist spreading the word of God as a solo performer. I currently have a single out on all of the major digital distribution sites called “The King”, Which reached number 1 on the Gospel Charts on Gospel Engine . com on the 15th of October, 2011.
