The Departed is a solo project started by Adam, B. Metal, former frontman and guitarist from Australian heavy metal giants Frankenbok.

The first self titled album the beginning of a life long dream of Adam's to write perform and produce an entire album from his own vision. "The Departed 2" is the follow up to this. While the approach is the same, it features some additional performances by guitarist Marc Pigdon and drummer Tim Smock.
