“Elektronvolt” is a study on deconstruction and reconstruction on a micro scale: taking the trivial and non-trivial apart once more, never being content with the final assembly of things and re-arranging beyond recognition but still well within comprehension. “Elektronvolt” is a statement of the droid's manifest: the ultimate artistic respect towards the source is to have no respect at all. “Elektronvolt” is rejecting the need for consistency and jumps freely between the genres of ambient, IDM, drum and bass, electro and experimentalism. “Elektronvolt” is powered by many audio donors from the #netaudio scene, including tonAtom chief Xenoton (xenoton.de), Pinar Akbay (pinarakbay.com) and Room of Wires (www.roomofwires.com).
