We are a three piece group that formed in the small town of Morganfield, KY. Cory Frasier is the guitarist, Dylan Barnes is the drummer, and Cody Barnes is the Bassist. All of the songs are written and sang by Cody Barnes, with the exception of Heartbreak which was written and sang by Cory Frasier. Buy My Art When I am Dead is Mauzy's debut album. It was recorded and mastered at Ashbrook Studios by Scott Brown. Scott graciously helped us every step of the way and without him, there would be no album today. We are very excited about the new album and cannot wait for the next album after. We started June 2015 and we are grateful to be at this point as a band. Here is to fill you in on how Mauzy began... Cody and Dylan are brothers, literal brothers. They always craved for writing and playing music but it was only until 2015 when they started actually doing something about it. Before then Dylan was drumming for Bobby (Dylan's other brother) in the band MINX. Cody was attending college at the time as a business major at the University of Kentucky. Cory was one of Dylan's best friends and they always jammed together. Cody finished college and moved back home and the three collaborated. So here we are today, thanks to Scott... again.
