简介

Coming from the country of the Legendary Seven Time World Champion Saddle Bronc Rider Casey Tibbs, Sherry of course grew up in a rodeo family. Nights were either filled with poker playing or music jam sessions. She grew up a true cowgirl being in the top in the nation in high school and intercollegiate rodeos and a tough contender in the professional ranks in barrrel racing. She worked every event that was open for girls from calf riding and team roping to the queen contest then even strapped herself on one of her bullriding brothers practice bulls. Winning three saddles at the State High School Finals Rodeo, she continued on to wear the crown of Miss Rodeo South Dakota. All-around rodeo cowgirl yes, but she started to stray away from the typical country music to arena rock and blues. She listened to Willie Nelson, Patsy Cline, Waylon Jennings, and Johnny Cash but then found Lynyrd Skynyrd, Pat Benatar, Aerosmith, and Def Leppard. So in essence, you might see a pendulum effect of a coyote calling prairie to a filled stadium with Van Halen performing. Speaking of calling coyotes, Sherry and her husband actually have a pet coyote who plays fetch (when she feels like it). Sherry pets this coyote but eliminates others. Her husband is actaully a wildlife services specialist (which means he takes out predators to protect livestock and wildlife) and once in a while he takes Sherry along to let her kill something. She's been known to be a pretty good shot even winning the National Women's Firearms Competition for the Criminal Justice Association when she was in college. Men, merlot, bucking horses, beer, coyotes, calico cats, hats, heartaches, love and the Lord, these are just a few of the things that have directed Sherry's trails so far and she wants to move every listner to feel Something! Get ready to grin, giggle, cry, stomp or even throw something when you sit down with her unique voice in your ear. See ya down the road!
