The Secrets are a raw Rock & Roll band stemming from a long list of veteran bands who hail from the incestuous music environment of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Tough-but-true lyrics cut a pathway through dynamic melodies with a driving rhythm section and sweet keys that glue the whole sound together. Influences range across the board in the band and root together into an overall Rock & Roll blend. Undertones of classic punk, progressive driving beats, symphonic and electric sounds and funk all hold their roles in the band's sound. The members of The Secrets have made up many of Winnipeg's great bands and came together to each bring unique style to their respective instruments to form this brand of rock music. Since 2012 The Secrets have been perfecting and gelling in their live shows and perking the ears of musicians and music fans. This debut 11-song full length self-titled album is a collection that includes both newly recorded material as well as remixed and remastered versions of the 4-song demo that kicked off the band in 2012. The outcome is a tasty rock & roll experience throughout.
