Originally from Maui, Hawaii, Juliet Green has been a singer in the Bay Area since 1991. Most of her earlier work was performing with various vocal ensembles, including Vocal Flight, InFusion, and the award-winning a cappella quintet +4db. With these groups, she has performed all over the US, as well as France, Germany, and Japan.

"Simple" marks Juliet's debut as a solo jazz vocalist, and as a lyricist. The album also features some of the Bay Area's finest players, including Michael Bluestein and Walter Bankovitch on piano; John Shifflett and Jay Quibodeaux on bass; Tim Bulkley, Jason Lewis, and Phil Hawkins on drums; and Jim Schneider on flute and sax.
