简介
Joel Warren grew up in a ranching family. Following in the footsteps of his dad, a celebrated champion steer wrestler, Joel has felt the adrenaline rush of steer wrestling and the cheers of a rodeo crowd. The wild rush of adrenaline Joel gets from jumping off a horse is the same rush he gets when he steps foot on stage with his band and hears the rowdy cheers of a different crowd as he sings Bulldoggin’ Son of a Guns, a song he co-wrote for all steer wrestlers. Some of Joel’s favorite artists are George Strait, Chris LeDoux & Garth Brooks. Joel pays tribute to all cowboys and ranchers in other songs he has written, while the lyrics in Leavin’ Lubbock, written by a friend, tell a different and heartbreaking story. Only after it was recorded did Joel unexpectedly begin living the lyrics in his first single release. Uplifting songs like Keep Rollin’ On and Writing a Song balance the emotional rollercoaster ups and downs Joel has experienced in his 22 years. What keeps Joel Warren going is the way his music affects the crowd and moves him to keep on writing about his country roots and singing his own brand of country music.
