Washington DC hardcore was put back on the map with Worlds Collide. This band influenced dozens of familiar bands, as well as help propel underground super label Victory Records to the top of the independent music world. Worlds Collide stands apart from many of the other bands of their era, with epic songs and crunchy more metal-than-hardcore guitar riffs. This band features DC hardcore legends: Ken Olden on guitar (Damnation A.D., Battery, Better Than A Thousand, Youth Of Today), vocalist Matt Burger (Jack Potential), Zac Eller on drums (Bluetip, Wooly Mammoth, 7 Gone), and Hillel Halloway on bass (Damnation A.D., Black Manta).
